ROTTERDAM, Netherlands – IMCD N.V., a leading distributor of specialty chemicals and food ingredients, announced that Manuel Baumann has been appointed Managing Director for IMCD Middle East, effective March 1, 2020.

In his role, Baumann will be responsible for driving the expansion of all IMCD business groups in the Middle East, developing and executing growth strategies with the company’s principals and customers.

Baumann is based at the newly established Dubai IMCD offices in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and reports to Frank Schneider, Business Group Director Coatings & Construction and Executive Committee Member of IMCD. Baumann and his team will serve United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait, as well as Jordan.
