TROY, MI – AkzoNobel Vehicle Refinishes announced that Michelle Sullivan, Strategic Sales Manager for AkzoNobel, received the Cornerstone Award from the Women’s Industry Network (WIN) during its Most Influential Women 2020 ceremony held online June 16, 2020. The Cornerstone Award is presented annually by WIN to board members whose actions and contributions demonstrate an outstanding commitment to WIN’s mission and vision.

A past WIN Chair, Sullivan is a strong advocate of WIN and increased its membership during her tenure. The past year, she worked to redefine sponsor opportunities and benefits, and has been a mentor to many women. Sullivan served on the WIN executive committee and in leadership roles on other committees, including the membership and sponsorship committees.

“I am grateful and humbled to receive this award,” said Sullivan. “Throughout my career, I have been in leadership positions that have allowed me to identify, advance and retain talent in the collision-repair industry. We all have a responsibility to leave this industry better than we found it. The Women’s Industry Network provides a platform to do that in a broader capacity. I was honored to serve with the industry’s finest leaders and mentors.”

AkzoNobel’s leadership team is honored to see one of its sales leaders receive such accolades for her hard work and dedication. According to Doug Holmberg, Commercial Director for AkzoNobel Automotive and Specialty Coatings - Americas, “Michelle’s commitment to the vehicle refinish industry is something that our customers experience every day. It’s wonderful to see the energy and dedication Michelle consistently displays being recognized nationally by the Women’s Industry Network.”
