SCHOFIELD, WI — Powder Technology Inc. (PTI) has entered into an official partnership with antimicrobial additives manufacturer BioCote^® to bring antimicrobial powder coatings to the U.S. market. PTI offers high-performance thermoset powder coatings now available in antimicrobial formulations: the PTI AM series.

Independent testing of BioCote additives, which are integrated into PTI AM coatings has shown to reduce microbes by up to 99.99%, according to test method ISO 22196.

PTI fully extrudes in BioCote silver ion technology, to ensure full dispersion throughout the powder coating. The AM powder coating line can be custom formulated in virtually any gloss, color and chemistry, including textures.
