WILMINGTON, DE – Ashland announced that it is increasing prices on 1-4-butanediol (BDO) and several derivative products. The price increases include 1-4 butanediol (BDO), gamma-butyrolactone (BLO^®), n-methyl-pyrrolidone (NMP), 2-pyrrolidone (2-Pyrol), and tetrahydrofuran (THF), which will all increase by $0.05 per pound. The increases apply to North America and are effective Oct. 1, 2020, or as agreements allow.
