WAALWIJK, The Netherlands – Stahl announced the appointment of Maarten Heijbroek as future CEO of the company, starting July 1, 2021. Heijbroek will also be a member of the company’s board. He will succeed Huub van Beijeren who has decided to retire after having contributed to the growth and success of Stahl over the past 14 years. Van Beijeren will continue to serve Stahl as a board member.

Heijbroek is currently President Consumer Care at Croda International Plc in the UK. He started his career in Unilever’s B2B chemical business Uniqema in 1992. At Uniqema he gained broad senior commercial experience in a global context. He joined Croda in 2006 through the acquisition of Uniqema, and in 2012 he was promoted to Croda's Group Executive Committee as President of Performance Technologies and recently became responsible for the Consumer Care division.
