ORLANDO, FL — Mayzo recently announced the appointment of Dr. Weihong Lang to the position of Director of Technology. The appointment comes as Mayzo enters its next chapter of expansion, innovation and growth in the specialty chemical business.

For more than 15 years, Dr Weihong Lang has held senior research positions at chemical, tape and medical device companies. She has earned 13 U.S. patents and had five papers published. She received her PhD in Polymer Chemistry from Sheffield University, UK.

As Mayzo’s Director of Technology, Dr. Lang will lead the company's R&D efforts to expand and improve the company’s specialty chemical product offerings to meet the continually evolving needs of its growing customer base. She will also provide technical support and training on the properties and applications of Mayzo’s products, both at the customer level and at education sessions during industry trade shows and conferences.
