This is the third patent that Hexigone Inhibitors holds. In May 2022, the company was granted U.S. Patent No. 15/768, 152 for Novel Corrosion Inhibitors, following the same patent being granted in the United Kingdom in January 2022.

Intelli-ion AX1 protects through intelligent micro-reservoirs, enabling the coatings to react faster to the environment, triggering the release of the inhibitor on demand.
