Portable Copper-Copper Sulfate Reference Electrodes from Paul N. Gardner USA
The portable Copper-Copper Sulfate Half Cell Reference Electrodes (CSE) are used for measuring electrode potential for pipe to soil, close interval surveys, structure to cell, and lab use. They are the most commonly used reference electrode for testing cathodic protection of corrosion control systems.
Reference electrodes consist of a plastic tube holding a copper rod and copper sulfate solution. A porous plug on one end allows contact with the copper sulfate electrolyte. The copper rod sticks out of the tube. A voltmeter negative lead is connected to the copper rod.
