Arxada, a specialty chemicals company, announced that Sanjeev Rastogi has been appointed President of Consumer Microbial Control (CMC). Rastogi will be based in Florham Park, New Jersey and serve as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, reporting directly to the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Marc Doyle.  

Rastogi joins Arxada from Hexion, a company with a focus on specialty chemicals and performance materials, based in Columbus, Ohio, where he served as Senior Vice President for its Resins business. He has held many diverse leadership roles and gained vast industry experience during his tenure at Honeywell, where he most recently was the Vice President, General Manager, Fluorine Products, Performance Material and Technologies, with an emphasis on enhancing global sustainability, safety and energy efficiencies. Sanjeev has an MBA in finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University and a PhD in chemical engineering from the University of Delaware. 

CMC is Arxada’s largest business, comprising Home & Personal Care, Professional Hygiene, and Wood Protection as well as Crop and Water Protection. With its industry-leading science and innovation capabilities, in-depth regulatory know-how, and track record in manufacturing and process development, CMC develops and manufactures a broad portfolio of differentiated consumer microbial control products and solutions that addresses the growing need for more sustainable preservation.
