True Value LLC is one of the world’s largest hardware wholesale distributors. It includes approximately 4,500 independent retailer locations worldwide operating under the True Value, True Value Rental, Home & Garden Showplace, and Induserve Supply stores. True Value LLC manufactures paint brands for True Value retailers and third-party customers. Its EasyCare brand of interior and exterior paints and Majic paints are manufactured in Cary Il and distributed globally to hardware and farm/Ag retail stores.
Notes: In March of 2022, True Value Company announced the acquisition of The Yenkin-Majestic Paint Co, an Ohio-based manufacturer of coatings and coatings resins, producing architectural coatings for home, agricultural, and specialty applications under the Majic brand name.
In September of 2022, True Value Company announced the launch of EasyCare LimitLess®, a super-premium interior paint. The product is the latest addition to the company’s paint lineup and slots into its painting-a-room anchor assortment, which gives consumers every product they need to complete a paint project.
