ICP Group (ICP), a North American manufacturer of specialty coatings, adhesives, sealants and chemicals, has named Jay Doubman as its new president and chief executive officer. In this capacity, Doubman will lead a team of over 1,000 employees, and will be responsible for accelerating revenue growth and enhancing profitability for the company.

With experience in the building products industry, Doubman rejoins ICP Group after previously serving as president of ICP’s Building Solutions Group as recently as 2021. Immediately prior to his appointment as CEO, Doubman served as chief operating officer of Ecore International, a manufacturer of recycled-rubber indoor and outdoor surfaces.

“We’re excited to welcome Jay back to ICP, where he was a valuable leader and contributor to the company’s success,” said Don Bramley, partner, Audax Private Equity. “Looking to the future, we’re confident Jay’s leadership and experience will deliver the commercial and operational excellence ICP customers require.”

“ICP has been at the forefront of the industry with an innovative, cutting-edge offering and well-known, trusted brands,” said Doubman. “I’m thrilled to be a part of such an incredible organization again and will leverage my experience in the building products space to build on the exemplary work of the team and keep the momentum going.”

Doubman earned his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Bucknell University.
