Stahl announced the divestment of its wet-end leather chemicals business, completing its transformation into a pure-play specialty coatings company.

The company opened a 25-acre site, which has facilities for making decorative paint, wood finishes, automotive and specialty coatings, coil coatings, and protective coatings. 

Noblelight specializes in the development and manufacture of specialty lighting components and system solutions, from ultraviolet to infrared, and the acquisition is the latest in a series by Excelitas Technologies since its establishment in 2010.

This initiative marks the next step in Stahl's strategic journey, aligning the company’s visual brand identity with its purpose and strategic direction.

For the third consecutive year, the company is recognized for its continued focus through environmental sustainability, social impact, and corporate governance (ESG) targets. 

This strategic acquisition marks the culmination of the most active year on record for PSE in terms of mergers and acquisitions. Including Interbay, the company forged partnerships with eight distributors specializing in automotive refinish and specialty coatings products and services. 

In this capacity, Doubman will lead a team of over 1,000 employees, and will be responsible for accelerating revenue growth and enhancing profitability for the company.

The new team equipment features shorts and sports shoes with designs using Huafeng’s newly launched textile coating system, which contains partly bio-based PU dispersions from Covestro.

The investment will fund numerous developments across the site, including the transition to automated production processes and plans to increase production capacity and storage space.
