Innovative Chemical Products (ICP) is a leading specialty coatings, adhesives, sealants and chemicals manufacturer in North America. With operations headquartered in Andover, Massachusetts, and Tampa, Florida, and manufacturing facilities across the United States, ICP serves multiple end markets, including building materials, specialty construction and sports surfaces. ICP is privately held and manufactures products under several recognized brands.
Founded in 2015, ICP Group has grown through organic growth and acquisitions into one of the largest coatings, adhesives and sealants companies in North America. The company operates through three business units: Specialty Coatings, Insulation and Adhesives, and Roofing and Driveway Sealers. Its portfolio includes brands such as California Paints®, California Sports Surfaces®, APF Polymer Surfaces®, APOC® and HandiFoam®. ICP maintains manufacturing and distribution sites globally.

Founded in 2015, ICP Group has built a portfolio of specialty coatings, adhesives, sealants and chemicals serving construction, flooring, roofing and sports-surface markets. Its brands include California Paints®, APF Polymer Surfaces®, APOC®, California Sports Surfaces® and HandiFoam®.
ICP is privately held and does not publicly report annual sales by business unit or product category. Sales were last reported to PCI approximately $700 million. Due to unconfirmed sales, ICP is now in PCI’s Honorable Mentions section.
Notes: In January, APF Polymer Surfaces introduced its Terrazzo Polymer Flake line, expanding its Decorative Systems portfolio with 19 color blends for residential, commercial and industrial flooring applications.
In March, ICP Group appointed Deb Lechner vice president of marketing.
In April, APF Polymer Surfaces introduced updated packaging with color-coded product categories and QR codes connecting users to technical documentation. Also in April, California Sports Surfaces extended its partnership with the Minto US OPEN Pickleball Championships through 2029. CoolTop® became the event’s main championship-court surface for 2025 and beyond.
In May, ICP named Todd Brown vice president of operations for its Roofing & Driveway Sealers business unit. Also in May, APOC® partnered with DSL Coatings to introduce liquid-applied roofing systems in the Netherlands.
In June, California Sports Surfaces’ Rebound Ace® Impact polyurethane flooring system earned FIBA certification for Level 2 indoor competition.
In September, APOC launched TUFF-GRIP™, a synthetic roofing underlayment designed with a high-traction surface and UV resistance.
In October, California Paints named Cactus Valley 0752 its 2026 Color of the Year. Also in October, California Sports Surfaces partnered with former ATP player and coach Michael Russell to support future sports-surface development.
