Sheboygan Paint Company Appoints New Board Member

Sheboygan Paint Company has appointed Mary Goggans to its board of directors. Goggans will advise the company in areas of innovation, growth and investment as part of its vision to become the most recognized family-owned industrial coatings company in America.
“Mary is an accomplished senior executive and we are excited to welcome her to the board,” said Jay Brownrigg, Sheboygan Paint Company 5th generation family owner and member of the board of directors. “Her significant experience in the chemical industry as well as her business discipline will be invaluable as we grow the business and pursue our vision.”
Goggans is president of Encapsys, LLC, a division of Milliken & Company. She has built the company into a world-recognized innovative microencapsulation company. She is an experienced board member and specialty chemical industry executive with a history of leading a culture that consistently achieves organic growth.
Goggans is an experienced c-suite business leader and has held roles in marketing, sales, operations and business development. She brings expertise in developing a culture of innovation and growth as well as in leadership and business operations. Prior to Encapsys, she held positions at Appvion and Kimberly-Clark. She holds a degree in chemical engineering from University of Virginia.
