Eastern Coatings Show 2025 Calls for Technical Abstracts
The Eastern Coatings Federation is calling for technical abstracts for presentations at the Eastern Coatings Show in 2025. Abstracts from industry, academia, government, and non-profit groups are encouraged to showcase advancements in coatings. Studies on coatings applications, chemistries, theory, manufacture, safety, test methods, and equipment are welcome. ECS aims to educate attendees and highlight state-of-the-art protection, aesthetics, and functionality in the field.
2025 Speaker’s Format Presentations will take place May 14-15, 2025. The ECS Technical Committee will review submitted abstracts, determine acceptances, and coordinate the presentation schedule.
Submission Criteria
- Abstract, biography and picture: Submit an abstract, biography, and speaker picture through the conference portal by Dec. 5, 2024. Submissions lacking all three items will not be accepted.
- Acceptance: Letters will be sent by Feb. 13, 2025, and the schedule will be published by March 20, 2025.
Presentations
Upload PowerPoint presentations into the portal by April 3, 2025. Electronic copies will be distributed to attendees with permission.
Content Guidelines
Presentations must focus on technical content that advances coatings technology. Company logos are allowed on the title slide only, and tradenames should not appear in the abstract or presentation. Submissions that appear overly commercial will not be accepted.
Timing
Presentations should be 20-25 minutes, allowing time for audience questions.
Pflaumer Brothers Innovation Awards
Pflaumer Brothers, Ewing, NJ, will sponsor awards recognizing the top two technical papers demonstrating outstanding technical innovations. The Pflaumer Honors for Innovation Award offers $2,000 for the most outstanding paper and $1,000 for an outstanding paper.
