Following the January 2024 acquisition of Noblelight® from Heraeus, Excelitas Technologies has outlined plans to consolidate its Noblelight operations in Germany. By the end of 2027, Excelitas will combine the four production facilities dedicated to Noblelight products in the Rhine-Main region into a single expanded site. The consolidation is part of a $20 million investment aimed at improving operational efficiency and competitiveness.

Currently, Excelitas manufactures Noblelight products such as UV LEDs, lamps, analytical light sources, and infrared emitters and systems across four facilities near Frankfurt. The new consolidated location will become the central hub for specialty lamp-based lighting and will house operations, research and development, and administration.
