The American Coatings Association (ACA) is set to host its 2025 CoatingsTech Conference from April 28-30 at the Omni William Penn in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The conference will center around the theme of “Coatings and Technologies for a Resilient Future.”

The 2025 CoatingsTech Conference will feature a variety of multi-track sessions, industry awards and presentation opportunities. The conference will also include a focus on new developments and research, with a particular emphasis on the theme of resilience.

In addition to the main conference, ACA will also be offering four Pre-Conference Short Courses on the morning of April 28. These courses will provide attendees with the opportunity to dive deeper into specific topics and gain a more comprehensive understanding of the latest trends and developments in the coatings industry.

The conference will kick off with a keynote address from Andrea Wagner Watts, the building science education manager at GAF. Watts will deliver a presentation titled “Future-proofing Buildings: Pushing the Envelope Toward a More Resilient Future.” With over 15 years of industry experience, Watts is a leading expert in the field of building science and is known for her work in improving the performance of building enclosures.

The first day of the conference will also feature a series of technical sessions, with nearly 40 sessions scheduled to take place across nine different topical areas. These sessions will provide attendees with the opportunity to customize their learning agenda and gain insights into the latest research and applications in the coatings industry.

The third day of the conference will be dedicated to the topic of Service Life Prediction, with a lineup of experts set to share their insights and expertise.

The 2025 CoatingsTech Conference is a biennial event that brings together industry professionals and students to explore the latest trends and developments in the coatings industry.
