The Western Coatings Technology Center at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, is gearing up for its annual Winter Polymers and Coatings Short Course. The course will take place from Monday, February 17th at 8 a.m. through Friday, February 21st at noon.

The short course is a collaborative effort between the Western Coatings Technology Center and the Cal Poly Conference & Event Planning Department. It will focus on various aspects of coating technology, with a particular emphasis on liquid coatings, both waterborne and solvent-based.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn from a mix of academic and industry experts. The course will cover a wide range of topics, including the VOC and air quality aspects of coatings. In addition to lectures, the course will also feature discussions and hands-on activities.

The Winter Polymers and Coatings Short Course is designed for individuals who have some prior experience in the coatings field. Participants are expected to have a working knowledge of chemistry and other sciences.

The course will be held on the Cal Poly campus in San Luis Obispo.
