Axalta Names President of Global Industrial Coatings
Axalta Coating Systems has appointed Tim Bowes as the new President of its Global Industrial Coatings division. Bowes will officially step into the role on January 27, 2025, succeeding Shelley Bausch, who will be stepping down from the role.
Bowes has been with Axalta as the Senior Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer. He has also held leadership positions at Meritor, American Axle & Manufacturing and Transtar Industries. Bowes has a Master of Business Administration from Wayne State University and a bachelor's degree from Lawrence Technological University.
Axalta CEO Chris Villavarayan expressed confidence in Bowes' ability to lead the company's Global Industrial Coatings division.
“Tim brings a wealth of experience to this role with his extensive background in managing industrial businesses across a number of industries and regions. He has played an important role in Axalta’s transformation over the past two years, driving significant advancements in strategy and operational excellence,” said Villavarayan.
Villavarayan also thanked Bausch for her contributions to the company.
