Axalta Wins 2025 BIG Innovation Award

Axalta Coating Systems has been awarded the 2025 BIG Innovation Award for its Voltatex® 8537PF. The award, presented by the Business Intelligence Group, recognizes the product's ability to improve the reliability and efficiency of electric vehicles.
Voltatex® 8537PF is a wire enamel that is specifically designed for use in electric vehicles, wind turbines and other high-performance electrical systems. The product is an organic-inorganic hybrid polyamide-imide that offers advanced insulation and protection. It is known for its corona, heat and transmission fluid resistance.
Axalta's Voltatex® 8537PF is particularly well-suited for use in oil-cooled flat wire drive motors. The product's ability to meet the demanding requirements of these motors is a key factor in its ability to enhance the reliability and efficiency of electric vehicles.
