PPG Earns Spot on Fortune’s ‘World’s Most Admired Companies’ List for 17th Year

PPG has been recognized by Fortune Magazine on its “World’s Most Admired Companies” list for the 17th year in a row. The list, which is considered a leading corporate reputation indicator, identifies the largest and best-regarded companies across 51 industries. PPG ranked #2 in the chemicals industry, retaining its spot from 2024 and representing its highest industry ranking since 2017.
The company earned its highest marks in global competitiveness, quality of products and services, financial soundness, social responsibility, quality of management and use of corporate assets. PPG’s recognition on the list is a result of a survey conducted by Fortune, which included a group of 630 companies in 30 countries. The survey received responses from more than 3,380 executives, directors and securities analysts.
PPG’s vice president and chief communications officer, Bryan Iams, highlighted the company’s commitment to delivering quality products and its focus on social responsibility. “This consistent recognition underscores the efforts of PPG employees around the world who deliver on our purpose to protect and beautify the world every day,” said Iams.
