Kraton Corporation announced a general price increase in North America for its SBS, SIS and HSBC product lines, effective May 1.

The company said the increase follows a review of the impact of newly enacted tariffs and other cost pressures. Kraton determined it could no longer absorb the additional costs independently.

Kraton noted that it will continue monitoring global developments and will review its pricing strategy if U.S. import tariffs change.

Kraton is a global producer of specialty polymers and performance products derived from renewable resources. Its polymers are used in a variety of markets, including adhesives, coatings, sealants, lubricants and personal care.
