Leon Topalian Elected to PPG Board of Directors

PPG announced that Leon J. Topalian, chair, president and chief executive officer of Nucor Corporation, has been elected to its board of directors, effective July 16, 2025. He will serve on the board’s Audit Committee and the Sustainability and Innovation Committee.
Topalian brings nearly 30 years of experience with Nucor, North America’s largest and most diversified steel and steel products producer. He has served as chair of Nucor’s board since 2022 and as president and CEO since 2020. He previously held roles including president and COO, executive vice president of beam and plate products, and vice president. He began his career at Nucor Steel Berkeley in 1996 as a project engineer and advanced through various leadership positions.
