Toyo Printing Inks, part of the artience Group, announced the opening of a new $70 million production facility in the Manisa Organized Industrial Zone in western Turkey. The 62,500 m² site will double the company’s production capacity and serve as a manufacturing and export base for Turkey and neighboring countries.
The facility features advanced automation systems and energy-efficient technology, with a focus on environmental sustainability. The company plans to domestically manufacture products such as lamination adhesives, which were previously imported.
“This factory is not just a production facility—it is a symbol of the friendship and cooperation between Türkiye and Japan,” said Yakup Benli, CEO and board member of Toyo Printing Inks. The opening follows the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
According to artience Group CEO Satoru Takashima, the new site will support growth in the packaging and food wrapping industries. Future production phases will include water-based and high-performance inks for metal packaging.
