Hempel Appoints New Chief of People & Culture

Hempel A/S announced the appointment of Anne-Christine Ahrenkiel as chief people and culture officer and executive vice president, people and culture. She will join the company’s Executive Group Management effective July 1.
Image courtesy of Hempel A/S.Ahrenkiel joins Hempel from DFDS, where she serves as executive vice president and chief people officer. Her background spans the public and private sectors, including senior roles at A.P. Moller-Maersk, Accenture, NNIT and Egmont.
“With her experience in leading large-scale transformations and deep understanding of the people function, Anne-Christine will be a strong addition to our leadership team,” said Michael Hansen, group president and CEO of Hempel A/S.
She succeeds Pernille Fritz Vilhelmsen, who left the company in April.
