Hempel A/S announced the appointment of Anne-Christine Ahrenkiel as chief people and culture officer and executive vice president, people and culture. She will join the company’s Executive Group Management effective July 1.

Ahrenkiel joins Hempel from DFDS, where she serves as executive vice president and chief people officer. Her background spans the public and private sectors, including senior roles at A.P. Moller-Maersk, Accenture, NNIT and Egmont.

“With her experience in leading large-scale transformations and deep understanding of the people function, Anne-Christine will be a strong addition to our leadership team,” said Michael Hansen, group president and CEO of Hempel A/S.

She succeeds Pernille Fritz Vilhelmsen, who left the company in April.
