Gema USA Inc., a Graco Inc. company, announced that Nick Harris has been awarded the 2025 PCI/Gema Scholarship through the Powder Coating Institute (PCI). Harris is pursuing a degree in chemical engineering at the University of Cincinnati and has two years of hands-on experience with DuBois Chemicals’ surface finishing department.

The PCI Scholarship Program, supported in part by Gema, recognizes students who demonstrate academic achievement, relevant research or coursework, and a strong interest in coatings technologies. Recipients are selected based on faculty recommendations, career goals, and industry engagement.
“Investing in education is investing in the future of our industry,” said Jeff Hale, director of marketing at Gema USA Inc. “We’re proud to support students like Nick who bring fresh ideas and energy to the finishing industry — and especially to the field of powder coating.”
