American Colors Celebrates 50 Years
American Colors Inc. is celebrating its 50th anniversary, marking five decades of providing custom liquid pigment systems and intermediates to industries including coatings, composites, plastics, films, agriculture and personal care.
Founded in 1975 as a regional supplier, the company has expanded into a global operation with manufacturing sites in the United States, Europe and Asia. Its growth has been driven by strategic investments and a focus on meeting evolving customer needs.
“It’s a great honor to celebrate the first fifty years of American Colors,” said James Oram Wible, co-founder and chairman of the board. “Our success is due to the hard work and dedication of our employee-owners in their service to our customers and each other.”
The company attributes its longevity to a sustained commitment to people, technology and sustainability.
