Datacolor announced the acquisition of Techkon USA, based in Danvers, Massachusetts, to strengthen its position in the printing and packaging sector. The move follows Datacolor’s recent acquisition of Techkon GmbH.

“This acquisition allows Datacolor to broaden its market reach and product offering with Techkon USA's ChromaQA software and in-line spectrometers to meet growing customer demands for integrated color management solutions,” said Albert Busch, president and CEO of Datacolor.
