The Painting Contractors Association (PCA) and Behr Paint Company announced a partnership to support U.S. veterans transitioning into civilian life through educational scholarships, mentorship and professional development.

As part of the initiative, 100 veterans will receive complimentary first-year PCA memberships through a scholarship supported by Behr Paint. Recipients will also gain access to PCA’s educational resources and mentorship from PCA members and veterans within both organizations.

Additional scholarships will be awarded to 25 veterans to attend PCA fall events, including PCA en Español, PCA Residential Conference, PCA Women in Paint and PCA Commercial Conference. The support includes event tickets and travel stipends.

“As a U.S. veteran myself, I am incredibly proud of the Painting Contractors Association’s work with Behr to give transformative educational experiences to veterans starting their next chapter,” said Nick Slavik, PCA board chair.

According to PCA, the total value of Behr Paint’s scholarship support is $75,000. Veterans can apply through the PCA Event Scholarships page before the August 1, 2025 deadline.
