Cortec Names Caleb Pheneger as President in Leadership Transition

Cortec Corporation announced that Chief Operating Officer Caleb Pheneger has been promoted to president, expanding his oversight to include full leadership of Cortec under the direction of CEO, Chairman and Founder Boris Miksic. Pheneger has held several roles since joining the company in 2012, including Production Manager, Director of Manufacturing and most recently COO, where he led operations across the U.S. and Canada.
Miksic, who founded Cortec in 1977, described the move as a generational shift in leadership and a continuation of the company’s long-standing commitment to internal growth and innovation. He will continue serving as CEO and Chairman while coaching Pheneger and supporting global expansion.
Cortec and its subsidiary Bionetix develop and distribute corrosion control and biotechnology solutions worldwide, serving industries from construction to oil and gas. The company is headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota.
