PPG announced a new authorized distributor partnership with GPA to expand access to its PPG TESLIN® synthetic substrate. GPA will distribute the Teslin product portfolio to customers in commercial printing and pressure-sensitive label markets globally.

Teslin substrates offer high printability, durability and conformability, and contain up to 60% less plastic than other synthetic paper. The materials are used in applications where strong bonds, security and easy processing are required.

“This partnership marks an exciting next chapter in bringing innovative printing solutions to more customers and markets,” said Amy Donato, PPG global strategic marketing director, Teslin substrate.

The partnership builds on a long-standing relationship between the two companies in the print, graphics and label industries.
