NCP Coatings LLC, a portfolio company of Century Park Capital Partners, has acquired Glyptal Inc., a Massachusetts-based manufacturer of insulating varnishes and specialty coatings for electrical, automotive and industrial markets. The deal marks NCP’s first strategic acquisition since partnering with Century Park and expands its reach into complementary specialty segments.

Glyptal will continue operating under its established brand, with operations integrated into NCP’s headquarters in Niles, Michigan. The acquisition adds products known for thermal stability, chemical resistance and durability, supporting applications such as electric motors, transformers and automotive engines.

Century Park described the transaction as a step toward building a larger platform in the industrial coatings sector.
