Sun Chemical and X-Rite Incorporated announced new PantoneLIVE color libraries for two-piece aluminum beverage cans. The expanded digital libraries enable accurate visualization and communication of Pantone and brand colors with matte finishes, helping brands maintain color consistency across substrates.

Available through PantoneLIVE Production – Print and Packaging, the update supports production with opaque and transparent inks, offering over 4,000 validated color options for applications such as cans, aerosols, tubes, cartridges, and cases.

“These libraries minimize delays and reworks during new design production runs, resulting in a more efficient and sustainable packaging workflow,” said Eduardo Alegria, global champion for metal deco inks, Sun Chemical.
