TIME A-List Highlights Coatings Leaders

Following PCI Magazine’s review of TIME’s 2025 World’s Best Companies ranking published Sept. 10, 2025, the following coatings manufacturers appear on the list: Sika Group (358), Sherwin-Williams Company (421), Nippon Paint Holdings (671), Mapei (771), PPG (rank 866) and RPM International (920).
PPG announced its inclusion in TIME Magazine’s World’s Best Companies 2025 list, which ranks the top 1,000 global employers based on workforce experience, financial growth and sustainability transparency. “At PPG, our 43,000 employees work every day to ‘protect and beautify the world’ by providing our customers with innovative paints, coatings and specialty products,” said Bryan Iams, PPG vice president and chief communications officer. “We are honored to be recognized by TIME Magazine for our workforce experience and strong business performance.”
The list was developed in partnership with Statista and evaluated companies across three dimensions. Employee satisfaction was measured through surveys conducted in more than 50 countries with responses from about 200,000 participants, covering employer image, atmosphere, working conditions, salary, workplace and equality. Revenue growth included companies generating at least $100 million in 2024 with positive growth from 2021 to 2024. Sustainability performance was measured using standardized indicators from Statista’s sustainability database along with targeted research.
