Pilot Chemical Company said CEO Mike Clark will retire effective December 31, 2025, and join the company’s board in 2026. President and COO Christian MacIver will become CEO on January 1, 2026. The company called the move part of a succession strategy at the third-generation, family-owned business.
Clark joined Pilot in 2018 as chief operating officer, became president in 2019 and later served as president and COO before being named CEO in 2022. “Mike’s steady leadership, drive for results and care for employees and our customers have positioned Pilot for continued growth,” said Paul Morrisroe, chairman of the board.
MacIver joined Pilot in early 2023 with nearly 30 years in commercial management and supply chain roles. She serves on the American Cleaning Institute’s board and has led operations and a growth strategy at Pilot. As CEO, she will oversee eight locations and nearly 350 employees.
Pilot manufactures specialty chemistries for household, industrial and institutional markets, personal care, metalworking and lubricants, oilfield and emulsion polymerization, with core technologies in alkylation, sulfonation, sulfation and biocides.
