The device allows operators to maintain a constant current density throughout the anodizing cycle, even when the part area is unknown. By reading the gauge display and adjusting the rectifier accordingly, users can ensure accurate process control and uniform film quality. The unit is waterproof, accurate to 0.1 ASF and features an auto-off display for long battery life. A companion smartphone app based on the 720 rule helps determine precise run times, reducing trial and error in production.
