Allied UV Hosts First Manufacturing Day Event

Allied UV hosted its first Manufacturing Day event on Friday, October 3, opening its Macomb, Michigan facility to students from Chippewa Valley High School. The visit featured live demonstrations, guided tours and conversations with team members across departments. The event aligned with the national Manufacturing Day initiative to build awareness of today’s high-tech, high-skill career paths.
“The students were awesome—engaged, curious and full of great questions,” said Mike Kelly, chief customer officer of Allied UV. “Our team really enjoyed giving them a behind-the-scenes look at our day-to-day operations and showing how much manufacturing has evolved. Events like this are a great reminder of how bright the future of U.S. manufacturing truly is.”
Allied UV provides UV/LED-curable coating solutions designed to improve performance, efficiency and sustainability across a range of industrial applications. The company said it plans to continue participating in Manufacturing Day and similar community outreach efforts.
