HEMCO introduced UniFlow® Specialty Fume Hoods for perchloric acid, acid digestion, trace metals and radioisotope work. Depending on the application, construction options include type 316 stainless steel or PVC for perchloric acid, HDPE for digestion, polypropylene for trace metals and type 304 stainless steel for radioisotopes. All models feature welded one-piece interiors with the worksurface, a front airfoil, rear baffle, vapor proof or explosion proof lighting and duct collars. Perchloric acid versions add a welded rear drain trough for washdown. A chemical and flame resistant composite resin exterior is standard.
