AMPP Debuts Knowledge Hub

The Association for Materials Protection and Performance launched the AMPP Knowledge Hub, a reimagined digital platform designed to unify access to technical resources across materials protection and performance. The organization said the site offers hundreds of thousands of expert-vetted assets, including technical papers, standards, books, journal articles, magazine issues, webcasts, podcasts, white papers and historical content dating to 1945. AMPP said each resource is created or contributed by recognized experts and peers in the community, ensuring field-tested insights supported by long technical experience.
“The AMPP Knowledge Hub is more than a store; it’s the core of our collective expertise,” said Mandy May, director of content management at AMPP. “We’ve built an evolving, intelligent platform that reflects the strength of our community and the depth of our technical heritage. Whether you’re an engineer, researcher, or student, the Knowledge Hub puts the full power of AMPP content at your fingertips to inform decisions, advance projects, and drive professional growth.”
AMPP said the Knowledge Hub functions as a living ecosystem that is updated weekly, with regular enhancements to improve searchability and user experience. It features smart taxonomy and tagging that makes it easier to explore related topics, follow research threads and verify whether a standard is active or historical. The platform’s capabilities include advanced filters, terminology support and content from Materials Performance, CoatingsPro and CORROSION journal along with news, webcasts and press content. AMPP said the site was designed for the needs of industry professionals and will continue to evolve based on user feedback. A webcast demonstration for the community is scheduled for Nov. 12 at 2 p.m. ET.
