The ChemQuest Group announced that Daniel Murad, president and CEO, was inducted into the Adhesive and Sealant Council Hall of Fame during a ceremony held at the ASC Executive Leadership Conference. Murad has partnered with the ASC for four decades, drawing on adhesive and sealant market insight to help drive industry growth.
Murad has supported strategy development for more than 100 companies, enabled key mergers, educated the financial community on the value of adhesives and supported suppliers identifying applications for new polymers and additives. He has also guided organizations to improve operational excellence.
More than 20 years ago, Murad helped conceptualize and guide the Building the Industry program, which brought together more than 40 companies to focus on research, education and communication. The activity led to broader adoption of structural adhesives and a measurable increase in market share over traditional fasteners.
“Congratulations to Dan on his induction to the ASC Hall of Fame,” said Roy Seroussi, investment partner, Arsenal Capital Partners. “There is no other person I know who has dedicated the time, focus and positive intent in promoting the future of the adhesives and sealants market globally.”
“I am immensely grateful and humbled to join my fellow inductees in the ASC Hall of Fame,” Murad said. “I have met and worked with hundreds of amazing people in this industry over the years, and their commitment to their companies and to adhesives and sealants as a whole is inspirational.”
According to the ASC, the Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the industry.
