The ROSS Double Cone Tumble Blender Model DCB-5 is designed for high-precision processes, offering the durability needed to handle high-density materials. Delivering repeatable homogeneity and powder blending properties, a large, hinged vessel cover provides sealing and full access for cleaning and material additions. The stainless steel type 304 jacket is rated for 50 PSIG for heating or cooling the batch. Powered by a direct-drive hollow-bore reducer and 3 HP TEFC brake motor, the blender is capable of 24 rpm at full speed, while an intensifier bar operating to 1,520 rpm supports effective deagglomeration. An oil-lubricated rotary vane vacuum pump, mounted within the frame and connected via a rotary union, supports vacuum blending and drying. System operation is controlled through a panel with a 7-inch color touchscreen and a lockable main disconnect.
