“Blue River has an impressive lineup of proven products, many of which I’ve worked with throughout my career,” McKernan said. “What stood out to me was the opportunity to lead a focused, growth-oriented organization alongside a leadership team that’s deeply committed to its people and customers.”

As CEO, McKernan will focus on operational performance and strategic growth initiatives. His stated priorities include improving production efficiency and output, expanding the company’s sales organization and distribution footprint, and advancing product expansion in targeted domestic and international markets.

“When you get the people right, the rest follows,” McKernan said. “Blue River already has outstanding products in place. By continuing to invest in our team and giving them the tools and support they need, the opportunity ahead of us is tremendous.”

McKernan also cited the company’s targeted market approach as a differentiator. “We’re very intentional about where we compete,” he said. “Rather than trying to be everything to everyone, Blue River concentrates on specific markets and partnerships where we can deliver exceptional value.”
