OPC Polymers announced Jon Housenga will become chief executive officer effective June 1, 2026. Housenga joined the company in 2015 following previous roles with DSM Coating Resins and McWhorter Technologies.

“I am incredibly honored by the confidence being placed in me as we enter the next phase of our business,” Housenga said.

Andrew O. Smith, executive chairman of OPC Polymers, said Housenga brings an extensive skill set to the CEO role and will be supported by a strong leadership team. Celso Juan Marranzini, CEO of Multiquimica Dominicana, said Housenga has been part of OPC leadership since the companies partnered in 2023.
