ACA Honors Two Diamond Vogel Leaders

Diamond Vogel announced that two company leaders were recognized during the American Coatings Association Industry Awards Dinner and Reception held May 4 in Indianapolis.
CEO Jeff Powell was recognized for his service as chairman of the ACA Board of Directors. Powell served as chairman from 2024 through April 2026. During his term, he helped provide strategic leadership and guidance for the association while supporting its advocacy, policy and industry engagement efforts.

Meika Vogel, vice president and general counsel at Diamond Vogel, received the ACA Industry Achievement Award. The award honors individuals who have made significant contributions to industry projects and association initiatives that advance the coatings industry. Vogel was recognized for her leadership and advocacy supporting ACA and the PaintCare program.
Diamond VogelPaintCare was created by ACA on behalf of paint manufacturers to operate paint stewardship programs in U.S. states and jurisdictions that have enacted paint stewardship laws. Vogel has served on PaintCare’s Board of Directors since 2017 and served as chair of its Budget and Finance Committee from 2022 through 2024. During her nine years of involvement, she has contributed to regulatory and policy efforts related to product stewardship in the coatings industry, including the addition of aerosol coatings to the California program and the development of broader national expansion strategies.
“Meika’s recognition by ACA reflects her steady leadership, legal expertise, and commitment to responsible product stewardship,” Powell said. “Her work with ACA and PaintCare has helped support practical, industry-led solutions that benefit manufacturers, customers, and communities.”
Vogel also serves on ACA’s Legal and Government Affairs Committee, where she has been a member since 2014. She is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel and the American Bar Association.
The ACA Industry Awards Dinner and Reception is held in conjunction with the biennial American Coatings Show and Conference. The event honors individuals for leadership, technical contributions and service to the paint and coatings industry.
