RadTech International North America announced the appointment of Rebecca Lipscomb as co-chair of its Environmental, Health and Safety Committee.
Lipscomb, vice president of global regulatory affairs at INX International Ink Co., will lead the committee alongside Michael Gould, technical key account manager at RAHN USA and immediate past president of RadTech.
The RadTech EHS Committee oversees the association’s regulatory, health and safety activities. According to RadTech, the committee monitors and educates members on global chemical compliance, local and federal agency initiatives, and workplace safety standards.
Lipscomb brings nearly 15 years of experience in global chemical compliance, environmental health and food packaging regulations to the role. RadTech said she is recognized across the supply chain for her work navigating international regulatory requirements.
“The regulatory landscape for energy-curable chemistries is fast evolving,” Lipscomb said. “I look forward to leveraging my experience at INX International to help RadTech members stay ahead of compliance curves, ensure workplace safety, and advocate for the clear sustainability benefits of UV+EB technologies.”
Gould, who served as RadTech president from 2023 through 2024, said Lipscomb’s experience with global regulatory agencies and emerging issues will support the UV and EB community as it manages regulatory challenges, including state and local legislative proposals and international chemical registration and reclassification issues.
RadTech International North America is the industry association for advancing ultraviolet and electron beam technologies, which are used in manufacturing sectors including food packaging, automotive, printing inks, electronics, wood and metal, and 3D printing.
