ChemQuest Adds Specialty Chemicals Director
The ChemQuest Group, a global consulting firm focused on tailored business strategy and optimization, technology acceleration, market intelligence, and M&A advisory services for the specialty materials industry, is pleased to announce that Sanjay Luthra has joined the firm as a director.
Luthra is a seasoned marketing and sales executive with over 30 years of success in the specialty chemicals industry. In roles with companies like Arkema, Imerys, Vinavil Americas, EPS-Materials, Allnex, and Bayer, he has negotiated over $750 million in supply agreements, launched 15+ market-leading products (generating $20 million in annual revenue), and consistently driven growth in coatings, adhesives, sealants, and construction materials.
With technical expertise spanning polyurethane systems, acrylics and other polymers, pigments, and mineral technologies, Luthra has developed the insight to identify and scale climate-adaptive solutions in real-world applications. He holds a B.S. from St. Stephens College at Delhi University, an M.S. in chemistry from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro, and an M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh.
“I am excited to join ChemQuest, as they have the highest level of integrity, professionalism, market knowledge, insights, and broad expertise in the specialty chemical industry, where I have spent my entire career,” Luthra said. “I have known Dan Murad and many other current marketing, commercial, and technical team members of ChemQuest for many years as customers, partners, co-suppliers, and colleagues, so it’s truly an honor to join the group and continue contributing to the growth of the specialty chemical industry via appropriate business and market strategy, innovation, and sustainability initiatives.”
“Over the course of his accomplished career, Sanjay has developed a very rich background in R&D, marketing, and business development with some of the key players in the industry,” said Daniel Murad, ChemQuest chairman. “His global perspective and impressive expertise will prove invaluable in support of our clients across all four business pillars.”
