DKSH Canada has been appointed exclusive distributor of Fuji Silysia Chemical Ltd. in Canada, expanding an existing partnership between the companies.

DKSH’s Business Unit Performance Materials will provide business development, marketing and sales, distribution and logistics, and technical support services for Fuji Silysia in Canada. Through the partnership, DKSH will support the expansion of Fuji Silysia’s high-performance synthetic silica materials across the Canadian industrial market.

DKSH said it will also provide technical services, regulatory expertise and local market knowledge to support product integration and performance.

Sylysia®, a registered trademark of Fuji Silysia Chemical, is a high-purity amorphous silica engineered with controlled particle size, high porosity and a large surface area. According to the company, the material is designed to provide dispersion and consistent performance across a range of industrial applications.

The companies said the Canadian agreement builds on an existing partnership in the United States and broadens access to silica solutions across North America.

Noel Shahnazarian, president of DKSH Canada, said the expanded collaboration enhances DKSH’s industrial materials offering and enables the company to deliver silica solutions to customers across the Canadian market.

Fuji Silysia Chemical Ltd. is a manufacturer of synthetic silica materials headquartered in Japan, with production facilities in Japan, Europe and the United States. Its Sylysia product line is used in coatings, plastics, adhesives, inks and other industrial markets.
