Asian Paints Acquires Remaining Stake in White Teak
Asian Paints Ltd. has acquired the remaining 40% stake in Obgenix Software Private Limited, known by the White Teak brand, for ₹188 crore.
The transaction gives Asian Paints 100% ownership of White Teak, making the decorative and architectural lighting company a wholly owned subsidiary.
Asian Paints previously acquired a 49% stake in White Teak in 2022 and an additional 11% stake in 2023. The company said the latest transaction represents a further step in its strategy to develop a more complete home décor offering.
White Teak operates in India and reported ₹106.84 crore in revenue for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2025.
