StarStep Alta Coatings Acquires Desert Polymer Flooring
StarStep Alta Coatings LLC has acquired Desert Polymer Flooring, expanding the Star Step Performance Coatings Group platform into specialty concrete-flooring systems.
Desert Polymer Flooring supplies high-performance concrete coatings and flooring systems for commercial, residential and industrial applications. The company also provides contractor training, technical support and product inventory through locations serving California, Arizona, Utah and Nevada.
StarStep Alta Coatings said the acquisition combines Desert Polymer Flooring’s flooring expertise with ALTA’s industrial coatings and application-equipment portfolio. The companies said the transaction broadens product offerings and supports expansion into the concrete-flooring market.
Desert Polymer Flooring’s existing leadership and team will remain in place following the acquisition. The company said its customers will continue to receive sales, service and contractor support while gaining access to additional resources through the Star Step platform.
