Induron Introduces Single-Leg Option for Thick-Film Epoxy Protection
Induron Protective Coatings introduced Perma-Clean 100 Single-Leg, or PC100 SL, a 100% solids epoxy system designed for thick-film barrier protection without plural-component spray equipment.
According to the company, PC100 SL can provide single-coat protection at film builds of 25 mils or more using standard spray equipment. The product is intended as an alternative application option for Induron’s plural-applied Perma-Clean 100 system.
Induron said PC100 SL uses slower reaction times that allow applicators to pause work without repeatedly flushing equipment, helping reduce material waste and downtime.
The company said PC100 SL shares the same A-side epoxy formulation as Perma-Clean 100, with applicators selecting the appropriate B-side catalyst for their preferred application method. The product is approved for potable-water immersion under NSF Std. 61/600 and complies with AWWA D102 ICS System No. 3 requirements.
